Castor and Rice Sulfate Free Shampoo Bar

$15.00

This bar is scented with the very popular “Cracklin’ Birch”. Our shampoo bars are made with quality ingredients especially recommended for hair care. The bars are hard, lathering almost instantly on contact with wet hair, requiring just a few swipes on your head to create a large volume of scented, foamy bubbles. A single bar lasts 60-90 shampoos.

What ingredients are in the shampoo and what do they do?

Castor oil and rice are said to help strengthen the hair, boost growth, and improve hair health, Also included are surfactants Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) and Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa) which create the gorgeous, dense, velvety lather. Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a mild third surfactant which boosts the bubbles and helps to make the shampoo bar milder. A bit of citric acid reduces the pH to a level good for hair. Panthenol’s role in the recipe is to increase shine, and the rice protein is for hair strength.
