Handcrafted Soaps

Our handmade soaps are beautifully crafted block bars, poured in small batches and cut by hand, so no two pieces are exactly alike. Each bar is rich, long-lasting, and luxuriously creamy, creating a lush lather that gently cleanses without stripping your skin. Most recipes contain fresh goat milk produced at Pony Lake Farm. With warm, country-inspired scents and rustic, old-fashioned charm, these soaps look as lovely by the sink as they feel in your hands.

SOAP FAQS

  1. SOAP is a “wash off” product, meaning that the lovely scent you choose for your SOAP will wash cleanly off after you rinse your skin with water. If you desire to have the scent carry on afterwards, you will enjoy our hand and body lotions with complementing scents.

  2. To help make your SOAP last as long as possible, keep it out of the line of water spray, and allow to dry on a draining soap dish between uses.

  3. SOAP is made with lye (sodium hydroxide and or potassium hydroxide). If it’s not made with lye, it’s not SOAP. Lye and oils combine when mixed (saponification) to create a new substance-SOAP! All of the lye is used up in the chemical reaction, leaving just cleansing SOAP and a bit of extra oil that was not saponified, to provide your skin with moisture.

  4. It is not recommended to use SOAP to wash your hair as the PH is too high for hair. Instead, try our sulfate free shampoo bars with PH around 5 to gently cleanse your hair.
