Yeti, Livestock Guardian

Yeti is a two-year-old Anatolian/Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dog. He takes his job very seriously and takes great care of the goats. He is present at the births, even helping mom lick off the babies. He ensures that no coyotes come sneaking anywhere close to the goats. He lets baby goats climb on him, allows the cat to snuggle him, and makes sure that all farm visitors are friendly. He does occasionally get hot, then plops his big fuzzy butt into the buck’s water tub! His favorite place to hang out is with the two bucks even though he’s almost too big to fit through the fence. We built him a jump gate, so he could easily get in and out of the pen, but he won’t use it.
